Quests and Conquests of the Soul on Silence
Finding the Child and Sage within.
(I am forever grateful for the Raja Yoga teachings of the late Yogini Dadi Janki from her Enlightened Teacher who believed women were the Empress Souls of the world at a time when they were considered not even to be a soul or possess soul consciousness.)
I don’t profess to be a physical yoga expert, (far from it) only a perpetual student and practitioner of mind yoga. It is how I understand the word ‘meditation.’ This has been a revelation for me and an aid to living in this world of drama.
Silence is the secret Science of the Soul.
Beyond the world of the senses and beyond the world of the elements is the realm of Silence in the highest dimension. It is the home of the soul before descension into the material world of birth and rebirth. It is the place where we can recharge our energy and begin our journey into Immortality and where we can have rest in a Soul Home during our cycle of lives.
It is not a case of stopping thoughts altogether to be in a place of silence, but to be fully conscious and slow the thoughts down by constantly drawing them to one central point within the mind, at the front of the forehead, above the world of our senses, not allowing them to run back out into the world around us. If we keep reeling them in to the centre again, it is a way of creating a portal into the realm of silence, a way of meditation that gives us ascension into a subtle world beyond the material world. We do not leave the body but just forget about it temporarily as thought takes wing.
To do this with eyes closed does not necessarily give us ascension as we fall eventually into sleep and back into body awareness. Our mind has been used to the training of closing the eyes to attain sleep and rest for the body. It is easy to slip into the pattern of sleepiness once the eyes are closed. The energy falls into the throat chakra area to begin the paralysing of the body to weigh it down in sleep and to lead the mind into dream state and the four stages of sleep.
If we do the same practice with eyes open and centred to a guided point of light or a centre point of lightness in front of us, it makes it easier to keep our awareness detached from the bustling world and trains our mind to become more easily detached while still within the world. So, in a moment we can attain this peaceful centred feeling even in the realm of chaos around us, if we must do so.
The purpose of Meditation and Contemplation is the Ascension of Soul to access the realm of Silence wherein lies all Divine Knowledge. Questions are answered almost before they are asked, and we bring back that heightened subtle awareness with us. We are alive and breathing and in remembrance of something primal to us. It is a cleansing of the soul and an easing of karma by becoming double light, and gradually accessing the road to the realm of Immortality. Even fifteen minutes of this plugging into Silence is enough to replenish the body and ease the mind. Troubles in the world seem to disappear and often we may find them easier to solve.
Eight Steps of Awareness:
1. Mastering central awareness within a world of radial awareness.
2. Mastering one-pointedness of thought to create the lift into ascension.
3. Mastering the mode of travel for thought by directing the mind through visual thinking. Controlling and steering our thoughts.
4. Mastering the travelling of the mind to others through visualisation.
5. Mastering the travelling of the mind into the world of silence beyond all others.
6. Mastering the travelling of thought into the realm of light and connecting to the Divine Parental Soul Source: Light to Light, Soul to Soul.
7. Absorbing the Divine Knowledge.
8. Becoming double Light to descend again into the world of radial awareness.
These are eight steps to the attainment of Divine Awareness and to help us in the journey of self-realisation. At this time in this era, we have the chance to connect with Light and Knowledge as it shines in the Darkest place. The world is in deep compression of Darkness, and it takes but a moment to connect with the Light and help to dispel the Darkness. Some see it, some sense it, or know that there is a subtle difference. It is not necessary to see Light, but the mind itself becomes lighter and the heaviness of worries disappear. The silence is experienced like a gentle bliss. We can become the helpers to transcend and transform ourselves and the world, to find peace and happiness where sorrow and disruption reside. The soul likes to work and tires of boredom. It is not just attracted to peace. It requires contentment, awe and wonder, and sense of fulfilment. Each soul wishes to be useful. It needs happiness to thrive, and all souls need to belong. We are as orphans, long-lost and without our Original Ancestral Parent Soul, without knowledge or map back to the Source. We have a need to be re-found after our long journeys through life after life of indeterminate karmic existence into descent into a dense and darker world of confusion and sorrow. Now is the time to be reconnected and begin our ascent as humans into a new and lighter world through eventual angelic awareness to deity, even as we live here on this planet we call home, transforming ourselves and the world around us as we take this journey. We need to make our own world as a paradise.
This is the Great Work, and it requires courage, powers, and cooperation. Although we start out with feet of clay, we can acquire the wings of inspiration and pure love to make the transformation happen within ourselves first. This is through moments of peace, meditation, or contemplation. If we collect these moments of peace, on a quiet nature walk, or sitting thinking, even daydreaming, moments of happiness, they accumulate and that feeling of peace can be activated if we find ourselves in peaceless situations. Hold onto that peace and stay detached to the drama before us, even as we help others in it. The calmness becomes radial, radiating from us and can protect us and others in some situations.
One easy practical method of solving an issue by taking advice from a higher source is to use ‘writing’ to access the child archetype within us and appeal to the sage archetype.
Have pen and two sheets of paper ready. Become the child by a simple method:
1. Using the non-dominant hand, begin to write with it. (If right-handed, use left, and if left-handed use right.) This takes us back to a time of concentration needed to produce cursive writing, joining up the letters to make a sentence. Join the letters and do not print. It takes us back to an age of early learning and entry into the adult world.
2. Address the sage whether it be a parent, a teacher, a doctor, an older person than the self, an ancestor or name of a deity or that of your God, as in: Dear Father or Mother, or Teacher, whichever title you would use.
3. Write the letter about something you wish to learn, be it a plea for guidance or asking for help to overcome an obstacle in your life. Because it is usually more difficult to write with the non-dominant hand (easier if ambidextrous), you will find that you will wish to get to the question with less words to write.)
4. Immediately after penning the letter, switch to the dominant hand and a new sheet of paper and answer from the sage to you.
5. Beginning with: Dear Child, (Rather than your name) and answer promptly.
6. Something very interesting happens, the answer comes flying out or the advice is given quickly from higher consciousness.
Try it and see. This method has been used by others before, but usually only with the writing of the first letter. Then the therapist usually answers. However, this method of the two letters is a way to become the child within to seek an answer by appealing to an archetypal authority within. It can be very effective. I have used this method in teaching or shared it in awareness groups, and it has been well received, most people loving the experiment and getting something very special and personal from it.
Enjoy the experience whether through the meditation, the silence, or writing.

What a great idea. Closing my eyes and focusing on my breathing is all I have!!!! Seeing all the books on my shelf waiting to be read, the walks I could take but don't, and the projects left untouched. I feel as stubborn as an oak, not as flexible as bamboo... But I know I need to bend, no matter how strong the wind. Driven by love, I need to keep walking... Thanks for this reminder; it means a lot
Looking forward to trying this. Thanks Dwina for posting this it is very interesting.
