I write real stories usually, but this is straight from the imagination. I was not sure whether to post it or not but others also seem to like it. Thank you for your encouragement.xx
Absolutely wonderful! This has all the hallmarks of a classic in the same way as the Little Prince. It has been a long wait but now that it’s here everyone can see what a perfect story it is!
That is at the start of the story. it was fun to write it and paint the pictures. I tried to make paintings that were not too modern. I admired Arthur Rackham's work for example, and Edmund Dulac the French artist. ***
Dwina! had a dream last night where I was coloring pictures by number, and one of the pictures looked just like something out of one of your stories 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So brilliant! Great you are sharing it in Substack. It is such a magical story and with your wonderful illustrations. I look forward to the next episode...
So many amazing ideas... Really full of wonder all the way through..."She flicked through thoughts and counted the dreams and found they were perfect without any seams.'
Philip, my son always drew three suns in any picture he painted and it inspired me to write the story. I am glad you said it was a joy to follow... thank you...
The Star Child's quest is a wondrous story - as great in scope as Exupéry's Le Petit Prince. I am so glad to see it here!

I keep thinking about " just enough ... no more no less" and cannot come back 🙃
