Thank you Trudi. I hope you enjoy them. In substack I have added some research stories separate from the divinations but will begin some sharing of techniques with the cards themselves soon. At the moment I am choosing some of my favourites. Combining them is even more interesting than individual interpretations.
Jonathan I am so happy that the work is out there now. Just hope people will enjoy it. I would love to see you both again soon. Maybe meet up if I am down your way, take you guys to dinner…. I am still trying to find things on Substack and don’t know how to look for people! Love your work and miss it xxxx
Hi Dwina, if you just click on my name above it will take you to my articles, you should be receiving them in your inbox? It would be lovely to see you, I'm running a course with John 20th - 22nd September so will be in Oxford (not with Adrian though) and you are always welcome here, Brighton has many good eating places and Adrian is an excellent cook. xx
Oh wow, congratulations! Even at first glance it's clear this was a labour of love. I'm very curious to see and explore how the West and the East have met here xx
Travel, study, shared symbolism, ancestral poetry, ancient alphabets, mythology, spirituality and something as simple or as complex as numbers and images. It is all part of folk belief and story-telling in every land and language... something that survives oppression and wars.
Most definitely! A lot of this shared knowledge of course stems from the common Indo-European roots, but there's also a component of our shared human traits that go beyond our ethnolinguistic roots - as you said, it's something present in every land and language. After all, we all came from the same Earth and carry the same ancestral ways in our genes.
Are you familiar with Manchán Magan? Just a while ago he announced his new book, to be published this autumn, and asked his audience to discuss possible titles. It will deal with shared knowledge between the ancient Vedic and Gaelic cultures. I'd imagine it will largely concentrate on mythology, but I suspect there will be a spiritual aspect to it as well.
Ramona, I loved your reply and it is obvious we follow much the same path of thinking. I do not know the Magans personally but I am familiar with some of the two brothers’ achievements, which are many, and although I do understand some of the Irish words I am not fluent in Irish, having been schooled in Northern Ireland. My ancestors were originally from Wexford and moved to Tyrone, during the potato famine. I will look forward to the new book that pulls together the Vedic Knowledge with the Gaels. I have been conscious of the link between India and Ireland for years and now I am curious how others have interpreted it. I have seen it through travels in India with stone carvings there and also in sigils on stones of Sumeria that seem to link very much with the Ogham on Irish stonework. Thank you so much for sending me your reply.***
The cards look wonderful and magical Dwina - Congratulations. I've just tried to pre-order he on the EU site but have been unsuccessful. I'll try the UK one 🌱
Dear Marika, I have spoken to my agent and the site of the EU had a glitch but will be operable again. Thank you for mentioning it. The US and UK sites are good. I do hope you will enjoy the readings once the Vedic Tarot is in your hands.
Congratulations, Dwina, your cards are beautiful and magical! I just ordered a set and look forward to receiving to deepen and explore with them! May your wisdom grace the world!
Thank you for ordering a set. I had a friend visit yesterday and he spent the afternoon just opening the book and reading it (I have a prototype sent to me). He said every page he read meant something to his situation at present. I remember having an I-Ching book years ago and doing exactly that. Sometimes we just open the book at the right page and it means something. Enjoy them when they arrive. ***
You’re so welcome! Yes, so true! Great timing, too, for our upside down and backwards world- guidance is essential! Thanks, I will enjoy them- and they will help with the expansion happening in my life, which is exciting and a bit scary (in a good way). Thanks, Dwina, for sharing your skills and passions- it’s inspiring!
I'm thrilled to see this post! I know how much hard work you put into this project. It's so exciting to see this deck come to life for you in printed form. Congratulations Dwina!
Thank you so much. Glad to see Peggy is writing! Good luck with the writing. It takes will, energy, zest, and enthusiasm, and giving birth to projects is a joy in itself. ***
Congratulations! I’m not personally familiar with Tarot but as a student of both Ancient Greek (west) and ancient Vedic (east) wisdom I can tell this result is a product of much hard work and passion.
Pre ordered! These sound fascinating 💫

So excited! Ordered the day I saw it on my Instagram feed. It will be lovely to have your art on the cards too!
I spent the nights drawing and painting them. They taught me so much more while putting in the symbolism. ***
Fantastic! Congratulations Dwina! I love the magical and fanciful appeal of your art! All the best! ✨💖✨
Thank you Charlotte... it was a culmination of much study, love and dedication. I am grateful for the interest here. xxx
Considering the amount of work and effort you put in them from the poetry to the heart they are just exquisite! ✨💖

The EU site is now working, Marika. Thank you for telling me. xx
